Classes are offered in our 10-week Fall and Spring programs and our 5-week Summer Program. Young Actors Guild provides professional expectations, resources, and mentors that lead young people through the exploration of multiple theatrical disciplines. This process takes place in a nurturing, respectful atmosphere where our students, their families and the community can realize the impact and lifetime character building learned in the theater process.

Due to unavoidable ongoing operating expenses throughout the year, tuitions are non-refundable once any of our programs begin.

Our Acting Classes are designed to allow our students to observe, explore and to gain their own understanding of how they view things creatively.  We have a combination of improv, scene work, and monologue workshops based on the ages of the classes we are teaching.

In addition to our large full-scale productions, a couple of times a year, we do the Follies. This is an opportunity for our students to be stretched to present an evening of entertainment that is conceived of their own creative works and music that they choose to perform in a variety show style. One of our mottos at the Young Actors Guild is "Create, don't imitate"

Music & Dance

Our music and dance classes are a combination of technique and creativity. We work on vocal technique, rhythm, and sight reading at the appropriate age levels in our music classes.  We teach songs for our students to develop harmonies as well. Throughout the year we will occasionally have vocal recitals to feature our students in a vocal performance setting.

Our Dance classes are general technique to target all levels we may have in the classroom, combined with choreography to help our students to learn to retain choreography for any shows they may be involved in.  We teach a variety of styles, sometimes based on a particular show we may be doing for that semester.
